My wife and I were concerned about yard flooding in our Virginia Beach, VA, home and we contacted Dr Dan’s Landscaping and architectural Design on the recommendation of my sister-in-law, who was familiar with his services. Dan came … More to our home and listened to our concerns. Luckily, it started rain heavily and Dan saw, first-hand, the issue and proposed a solution of French drains that fixed the problem. While he was there, I took the opportunity to show him another issue that has plagued me for twenty years. Our driveway was old and water from heavy rains pooled into our garage and along the walkway in front of our house. He made another proposal for removing the old driveway and front walk, reshaping the slope of yard so the water would drain into the street gutter and not inside my garage. The work began in August and the yard issue was fixed in two days. The driveway work began in September and it took Dr Dan’s crew five days to redo the driveway and front walk, with an additional extra- an expanded side walk beside garage that has drawn admiring comments from our neighbors. Dr. Dan delivered the solutions we asked of him, plus more, and at a price that didn’t break our bank! This year we had Dr. Dan's Landscaping & Architectural Design team come out to our home in the King's Grant area of Virginia Bch to remove a 40 year old deteriorated cracked driveway and sidewalk, which was a fairly large … More residential job.
Dr Dan provided a very reasonable quote for removing and replacing our Driveway with a much larger one which also included a wider curving sidewalk to the front door and the side of the house to an new outside shower.
Dr Dan's Team was always very polite, professional and very punctual, Dr Dan even called prior to arriving each day to inform us as to what was going to be accomplished.
Dan's Team Leader Gabriel and his crew protected our property during the process and always ensured everything was cleaned up at the end of each work day. The concrete form they made for the New Driveway had alot of Curves, Transitions and Angles.. and we can not be happier with the end result of there design, work and expertise.
The job start to finish took about 3-1/2 days..
