We love a plant that blooms blue. And one of our favorites is plumbago.

Dwarf Plumbago is a swanky, functional and dependable groundcover for sun or shade. Dynamic blue flowers are set off by bronze-green to dark green leaves on wiry stems. It’s a slow spreader, but it provides a lovely exposure of color. It blooms from summer to fall, and as the flowers start fading the foliage takes over and offers a display of brilliant reds and bronze.   With it’s deep blue blooms and vigorous growing pattern, it’s sure to be a favorite in your yard. Not only is it a great ground-cover, but it works well in containers, too.
